The proposed project is in between the towers Silver (by Intracorp) and Metroplace (by Intracorp). Belford Properties is applying to the city of Burnaby to build two highrise towers with commercial components attached, facing Beresford Street.

Preliminary project summary from Belford Properties:

Located on Silver Avenue and Beresford Street, this development project is a mix-use comprehensive building with two residential high-rise towers and a commercial podium that comprises of retail and office spaces.

This development project is designed to be a modern, convenient and transit oriented building situated across from Metrotown Shopping Centre and Metrotown SkyTrain station. The primary residential tower of our development project will be situated on the northerly portion of the site, and the lower secondary residential tower will be situated on the southerly portion of the site. The modern design of the building will be in line with the upcoming development of public art walk along Beresford Street pedestrian walkway by the City of Burnaby.

 So count with me, starting from Willingdon Ave moving East along Beresford Street:

With all these towers coming the amount of traffic will be crazy. In my opinion Beresford Street is simply not wide enough to handle all the traffic. What do you think?
