What is a "Presale"?
I'm sure everyone has heard of this term around town at one point or another. The term Presale refers to real estate developments being sold before the completion of construction. Most often in Greater Vancouver, this type of real estate is typically new condo or townhouse developments being marketed and sold by developers.
In most cases Presales are "pre-construction" condos, so all you see are floor plans or models at the sales centres.
Sometimes you will run across completed buildings that still have homes unsold. These are also referred to as Presale because they’re still being sold as brand new properties by the developers.
